The front squat is a very important lift. It is a foundational component of the clean and thruster, but also the wall ball, goblet squat, and getting things out of the fridge while holding a baby.
Unfortunately the lift breaks down getting into the bottom position and definitely on initiation out of the bottom.
Many times, at sub-maximal loads, you can grind through this breakdown; however, there is no hiding from it at top-end effort. Even worse, the grind that gets you through your working sets may actually be making you worse.
