CrossFit and Immunity

Although these articles are sensationalized, it does raise some valid considerations for coaches and athletes regarding the following:

  1. How often do I train and for what purpose?
  2. Am I recovering enough on a neuro-musculo-skeletal level? (do I have chronic ouchies?)
  3. Am I immuno-compromised or immuno-vulnerable?
  4. Is what I am doing now going to help me a decade from now?

This video should help you understand the answers to these questions or give you more conceptual depth to apply them to your programming and training.

It’s all about longevity and even the silliest of things can help us get better.
