The plantar fascia is a portion of the lower extremity’s posterior chain of muscle and soft tissue, specifically located at the bottom of the foot. It is often identified at the heel because that is where most people suffer with excruciating pain upon standing in the morning or after a prolonged seated posture.
Though people spend a lot on insoles, injections, medication, and even surgery, plantar fascitis (fasciitis) is actually a pretty easy fix if the patient is dedicated to an active solution.
This video will help you understand why it is happening and provide guidance on how to start addressing the cause.
