Running is too often over-simplified and under-respected as a highly-specialized skill. Because of this, it is the most dangerous recreational/fitness activity with respect to overuse injuries.
Due to that fact, many say, “I hate running”, “I can’t run because of my knees”, “I prefer rowing”, “I’m too old to run”. These are all unfortunate statements that don’t have to be a perception or reality.
Just like any other skill, running can be developed and we will start today with a simple drill that will do one of two things:
- Identify capability, or lack thereof, with the pull mechanic
- Identify side to side imbalance with the pull mechanic
Good luck and keep moving,
