We’ve all seen it and we’ve all done it, but do we all understand it?
The stable posture for the overhead press is often compromised and rarely understood. Many will focus on one part of the ground to head stability pattern. One person focuses on the knees. Another, the glutes. Another the abs. And another the shoulders.
It is critical to be able to simultaneously perceive and control them all was we progress through a fluent and efficient upper extremity movement pattern.
